Victoria Klassen is an abstract painter whose work is rooted in the natural environment. She takes her inspiration from tangled branches, the light coming through the trees, or a simple leaf. These elements are remembered and incorporated into abstract compositions that communicate her emotional response to the environment. She paints abstractly so that she can express a more impactful portrayal of her love of nature.

Her work alludes to the beauty and simplicity of forms and light found in nature. You can find her at her studio in Vancouver, BC where she also attended Emily Carr College of Art & Design and the Langara Fine Arts program.
