What is the material used in your canvas?

We use a poly-cotton canvas that retains the look and feel of a cotton canvas. You can’t tell them apart and you avoid the bumps, bad treads, and sagging in dry weather.

What kind of inks do you use on your canvas prints?

We only use waterproof, pigmented, archival ink.

What material is used to frame the gallery wraps?

We use jointed pine wood so our frames are straight and node free.

Do I need to frame a Rolled Canvas Painting?

If you order a rolled canvas print, we recommend you visit a local quality framer to place the canvas within a frame of your choice.

Can I request a custom size?

Yes, you can request custom sizes. Generally, you lose some detail if you go larger than original artwork size. Email us info@wallart4you.com with your request and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Why is the Rolled Canvas painting we received larger than size listed on the website?

The rolled canvas is larger than the artwork dimensions to leave an open space on every side for framing purposes. We offer a white or black two-inch border around the artwork.

Do you keep a stock of paintings?

Other than original paintings we keep no inventory of the canvas prints. Your artwork purchase is made to order.

Can I get my artwork delivered as a gift?

We can send the order to any address mentioned by the purchaser and issue the authenticity certificate.

Susan Holmes

Painting is like keeping a diary in a visual form. For Vancouver artist, Susan Holmes, her thoughts and feelings are embedded into each piece of work. Her style is characterized by her love of flowers, vegetation, and architecture which are recurring themes in many of her paintings. She is known for depicting gentle, soft, serene, and lonely settings in her subjects.

Susan studied art at Emily Carr University and has been a successful freelance graphic designer. Adding to her design, she received several commissioned painting projects. One of her paintings, “Soundscape of a Bamboo Forest” was bought and displayed at the UBC President’s residence (Norman MacKenzie House). Many of her other paintings are now in private collections in the States and Canada.

Her preferred medium is watercolour due to experimenting with its fluidity. Susan loves the challenge of taking the reins of a brush on a wet surface, then amalgamating layers of emotions (both translucent and opaque).
