Locals called the bear Blondie, unlike the spirit bear, which is a variation of the black bear, Blondie is a unique member of the grizzly species, recognized for its striking golden white fur. This photograph captures a serene moment with Blondie, a bear that has intrigued and delighted those lucky enough to encounter it. Here's hoping Blondie continues to thrive in the forests of Chilko Lake.
